I'm bored of my old template blogger Mynx because it was all white and there were almost no color except white,plus i couldn't add blogger hacks to my old template , i searched and found this great wordpress template , i liked this so much that ,once i saw this blogger template i decided to use , it was hard for me to set proper colors for adsense and chikita eMalls since i dont have adobe fireworks on my computer,and the way this template coded is quite complicated,so i tried and failed a lot times while putting addthis buttons chikita ads and other scripts to my template . and finally i managed to edit my template. So how did i find and and what hacks did i used on this blogger template.Read below and make your template better ;

• As i was looking for free blogger xml templates i found Amanda's 101 excellent blogger XML templates article.
• And this template was at top, thanks Amanda for introducing me such as beautiful template.This is also her top favorite!
• To prevent overload on main page i needed a hack to summarize my post and i found this hack on hackosphere's expandable post summaries article.
• And i needed a hack to show my recent posts and i found this hack on JackBook's Recent Comment on blogger and Recent Post on Blogger article.

Expandable post summary and recent post & comments are quite necessary for your blogger blog! Because blogger is lack of these two things which must be in a blog.Thanks coders for blogger hacks.

On yesterday's post we learned how to change browser title and template header title ,how to show comments and posts with post body code . Today i will tell you how to show recent posts and archive on our classic blogger template.

Step 4 : Showing Recent Posts on Classic Blogger Template

I will give you a simple code and you need to add this code between <ul> and </ul> tags . There must 2 r 4 <ul> tags , chose the one where you like to show your recent posts and delete all the "li" codes between ul and /ul tags and paste the code below ;

Now we added recent posts section to our template.

Step 5 : Showing Archive on Classic Blogger Template

Now find another tag starts with ul and ends with /ul ,delete the li codes and paste the codes below ;

Step 5 : Adding Other Things ( Ads,Stats,Entrecard etc.) to Classic Blogger Template

Do the same things i told you below and finally add your code.Save and publish

Step 6 : Editing Footer on Classic Blogger Template

Tag for footer always labelled as div id = footer find this link and add your anchor link text .

Let me tell you,when you download a blogger xml template,you directly upload it to your blogger. WRONG! You guys need to read this article before downloading a template otherwise you will have to look for a new template.But probably same problems will occur since you do not know the tips i listed below.

• First and the most important tip is saving template pictures to your pc , because hundreds of bloggers use same template , so they consume same bandwidth , and remember this one day you will see this message " Bandwidth Limit Exceeded " and imageshack or photobucket logos will appear on your blog instead of your template pictures.

Solution : The best way is uploading pictures to googlepages.Do not forget to change pictures links.

• Saving template to pc before installing does not do anything except messing up your widgets ,javascript/html files,ad places , so do not rely on this method.

Solution : Create a folder on your desktop and create notepad files in your folder,name notepad files as your widget names,for example ; if you want to copy your adsense codes to notepad name it as adsense codes ,because when you re-install the template you saved to your pc,some of your widgets will be deleted.

• Struggling with codes to obtain a better template is another thing you should not do.Because blogger codes are really complicated and if your html knowladge is under zero do not even click "Edit HTML" tag on blogger dashboard.

Solution : Find a better template or ask for someone to do the thing you want to do.

Non-English letters? Yes,letters like "ö" "ç" "ş" "ü" "ğ" ,the languages that use these letters are german,french,dutch,turkish and more.. i will tell you how you can get a blogger name including these letters below.Before reading this article please subscribe my feeds if you think my articles are useful.Thanks.

• Before going to Blogger dot com go to this link.
• Type the name you want use which includes non-english letters.( our example is français )
• Click "Çevir" Button

Blogspot name bothers you and you want to buy a domain,but you do not have any idea about publishing your blog under a domain name.Without buying hosting you can own your own www. blog.Of course you can buy hosting but first of all you must buy a domain name and you had better publish your blog under a domain name if your small business grows and becomes big busines realize that its time to buy a hosting.

My first blog was webmaster-labs.blogspot.com now i will tell you how im publishing it under gosublogger.com and how i changed all my links to gosublogger.com on google.

First you must buy a domain name from domain name providers(mine is name.com),after payment is made you are a domain owner.

Now goto everydns.net (totally free) and follow the steps below :

1. Register everydns.net ( Free! )
2. Click Add New Domain (Basic) and press enter.
3. After done the second step you will see your domain name on Primary Domains section
4. Click your domain name on everydns.net and type datas below ;

Add a record
Fully Qualified Domain Name: your.domain.name
Record Type: Cname
Record Value: ghs.google.com

After filled all gaps except "mx" click Add a record button.

Now go to your domain name provider's site and edit name servers on your dashboard,there must be 4 boxes, fill the boxes like this ;

1. ns1.everydns.net
2. ns2.everydns.net
3. ns3.everydns.net
4. ns4.everydns.net

After done these save and close the page and do not monkey with other settings ! Now wait approximately 20 - 30 minutes for servers to redirect name servers.

Now go to your blogger account and follow the steps :

1. On blogger dashboard click "settings."
2. Then click "publishing."
3. Then click "Switch to custom domain"
4. Now click " Already own a domain? Switch to advanced settings "
5. Now enter your domain name .
6. Leave "Use a missing files host?" as "NO"
7. Click save settings.
8. View blog.And DONE!!

Now your blogspot account will be redirected to your custom domain automatically.If somebody click xxxxx.blogspot.com/20/08/this-is-my-article.html on search engines he will be redirected to www.xxxblog.com/20/08/this-is-my-article.html . I mean he wont be redirected to main page of your blog.Check the example below:

For bloggers article design must be as important as blog's template,because its blog where you publish your articles.And your popularity depends on your useful articles.But sometimes your articles may not be read even though its useful because it cant get readers attention.Now its time to rise article readability rating.

• Post Title : This is one of the most important principle.Your post title must be seo friendly and must express main goal of your post with a few words.

• Grammar : If the language of your blog is not your mother language try to explain the subject in short way without making a lot of grammar mistakes ,if its your mother language explain the subject with details and giving examples.Grammar is also important.If its hard to understand your article,you had better give up blogging or writing blog in your mother language.

• Numbers : Try to use numbers in your posts like mashable.com , its really effective.For example label your posts as 10 blogger hacks ,20 wordpress add ons , 30 firefox extensions.Even though the article is not related to what visitors look for ,he will check up the articles labelled with numbers.Try and see.

• Images : A page full of texts is hard for people to read , put images related to your article not to tire your readers eye.Your visitor must enjoy while reading your article.Not center images if it is not necessary,put right or left of text,but it must vary from artcile to article.Putting all the images to right will bore your visitors.

• Colors : White background and black text color is always suitable and ideal.But Black background and white is the worst choice ever.So dont make this mistake.And dont color your words ,bold and italic are enough to get attention of your visitors.Otherwise your blog wont be different from Disney's web site.

• Writing Style :
